REFLECTIONS

Pitter-Patter

Pampered steps go pitter-patter.
On-wards in groves
Climbing-falling
Faster, slower
Higher, lower.
The Beginning is its end;
The End its own beginning.
The in-betweeners found wanting-longing.

Malaised by this haze,
The cruel dichotomy of all meaning,
I stand:
A body of indecision.
Yet on and on it goes,
My sultry ways,
My escapades,
My riffs,
Unconsciously skips
To pitter-patter.
